A random act of Kindness… Thank you Mark!

So sometimes it takes someone to move half way accross the world for you to get back in contact with them. That’s what happened with myself and Sinead O Sullivan. Myself and Sinead worked together when I was in college! We had hit it off from the start and always laughed our heads off eating sweets and drinking coke in the stock room! Hangovers on Sundays were especially trying but we managed to get one another through!

Sinead had now moved to Australia with her boyfriend Mark and I’ve being following their journey via their blog and their facebook! Sinead made a really generous donation before she moved to Oz to support me in my quest in the Landan marathon. As Mark was having difficulty finding a job in Oz, they both made a pact that if Mark found a job that he would do a random act of kindness.

A few weeks ago, Mark was told that he had got the job he applied for and wanted. Mark’s random act of kindness was making a donation to me in my quest to raise 2k for the Landan marathon (I believe Sinead may have had an influnce in this decision). Mark donated me an astounding €100 as a gesture of good will which almost made me cry. The generosity is beyond words.

I’ve never met Mark but would like to thank him so much for his overwhleming and generous random act of kindness. Truly touched and hopefully we’ll get to meet one day and I can thank you in person!

Thanks Mark and Sinead and so happy you’re both living it up in Oz… -€100!!!
