I first read about porridge bread on Holly Carpenter’s blog so I decided to give it a go! Thanks for the inspiration Holly! I didn’t think something with only porridge and yogurt could taste so good but it’s unreal! So my first attempt went well and since then I’ve decided to try it with Quinoa flakes and pecan nuts and chia seeds and every bit of seed left in my cupboard!
Attempt number one! With porridge oats!!
Attempt number two! With Quinoa flakes, lots of chia seeds, peacan nuts and some sunflower seeds!!
1 Greek Yogurt or any natural yogurt pot like the above pic
Fill this up twice with porridge oats/quinoa flakes
Add a tea spoon of baking soda
Mix it all up and add a few seeds
Put it in the baking loaf tin in the oven for like 30 minutes and there you go
Who knew bread could taste so good without it actually being bread!! I think everyone should try this one!!
