I thought I would write a post on what you should buy ahead of your hang over this weekend. This is the best hangover shopping list ever! REPLENISH your BADY! Feed your friends with hangover cures that won’t leave them feeling like they’ve eating a whole week’s worth of calories and need to spent the next week living in the gym! It’s all about choice and preparation. Think about what you’re eating before your hangover eating habits get out of control…
Lemons, lemons, lemons – These bads boys cannot be topped! Just buy a whole bag and keep squeezing them into hot or cold water. You could even go the extra mile and freeze and then grate them for maximum effect. Sparkling water is also a good shout to replace that Coke quench!
Avocados, Banana, raw cocoa (optional), Almond milk, seeds for topping (optional) – So blend the whole avocado, half a banana, almond milk (texture of your choice), one table spoon of raw cocoa. This hits the sweet spot and you feel replenished. Add raw cocoa for the chocolate effect!
Water – Just keep drinking it with the lemons
Juice – If you have a juicer, juice 2 cucumbers, two green apples, a chunk of ginger and 8 celery stalks
Butternut Squash – Make some soup! Easiest thing ever. Only off putting thing is peeling them but put them in the over for 30 minutes and then the skin slides off!
Quinoa – I am obsessed. It’s filling, protein and you can do zillions of things to it.
Chick Peas – Make your own! Then spread it on …
Porridge – Bread
Avoid sugar at all costs – This won’t fill you up and you’ll just eat rubbish all day thinking you’re hungry but you’re not, you’re just dehydrated.
