I am proud to announce that this month’s magazine is the 150th issue, which is a huge milestone for us at Time & Leisure. In this edition we take a look back over
the past 149 issues and we’ve put together some of the most memorable bits. Without you, our loyal readers, we would not be where we are today, so we would like to thank you for your continued community support. We’ve not forgotten it’s half term this month, so we have the extraordinary Annabel Karmel on hand with advice for any mumpreneurs out there. She tells us how her children are her inspiration and how without their fussy eating ways, she would not be where she is today. She also updates us on her latest food venture, which is launching in Clapham.
I have to say, the more I explore south west London, the more inspirational amazing people and stories I come across. I recently met with Omnibus Theatre’s art director, Marie McCarthy, who talked to me about what it means to have won the prestigious Peter Brook/Royal Court Theatre Support Awards prize (see page 16). It’s so important to support, recognise and celebrate successful independently-run local businesses and that’s just what we are doing this month as we speak to a number of local businesses (see page 43) and find out the secret to their longevity and success.
And finally, if you’re feeling like you want to treat that certain special person, not just on Valentine’s but on any day of the week, check out our review of one of the most romantic restaurants in the capital on page 41 There’s so much to love in Clapham, Battersea and Fulham this month!
