Happy New Year to one and all! I hope you had a well deserved festive break and are raring to go for 2017. We’ve hit the ground running here at Time & Leisure as we are celebrating a very special time. This year marks 20 years since Tony and Maggie Kane started Time & Leisure magazine in the spare room of their house. Their shared passion for bringing local news to local people, reinforced since their daughter Lucy took over the business in 2002, continues to connect the strong community spirit of south west London, which it is a privilege to be a part of. We have lots of exciting things coming up over the next few months to celebrate the occasion, including our 150th issue, so stay tuned…
What are you hoping to change this year? If renovation is on your agenda, make sure to check out our inspiring Big Build features. If it’s revamping the interior of your home, we have advice from one of the most sought-after and iconic interior designers in the world, Kelly Hoppen, on page 12. If you’re looking to find your inner Rocky Balboa, ballerina or dancer, then check out some alternative fitness classses on page 17. If it’s a health boost you’re after, The Flexi Food – also known as fitness extraordinaire Julie Montagu – reveals how you can weave exercise into your daily life and actually enjoy it too on page 14. She inspired me to buy a bike after we met, so anything is possible!
Healthy eating may be on the agenda this month and we’ve got the perfect spot on page 45 where you can brunch, lunch, dine and munch on a menu of replenishing superfoods. As always, we would love to hear from you. If you have any local news or stories make sure to contact us…
Until next time.
